Two Scottish Straight cats, one silver bloodline. Every kitten we raise carries the quiet strength of Matilda and the playful grace of her daughter Busya.
Queen Mother ♛
A silver chinchilla with sky-blue eyes that stop conversations — and a temperament just as rare.
Around the house we call her Мотя. She’s our foundation queen: five years old, velvet-soft, and unfailingly kind. She greets visitors with a head-bump, supervises every kitten in the house whether it’s hers or not, and sleeps closer to the humans than most cats ever bother to. Her silver-tipped coat catches sunlight like a halo; her eyes are a true blue — the rare legacy of an ns 11 line. Mama Mотя has at least one more litter ahead of her before she retires to full-time couch duty.
ns 11)
Young Queen · Matilda’s daughter
Silver classic tabby, bright green eyes, and every bit her mother’s heir.
Busya was born in our living room — to Мотя — and grew up learning from the best. She’s nearly three now, with the crisp classic-tabby pattern her mother’s line throws so beautifully: shoulder bullseyes, ringed tail, a clear “M” on her forehead. Same kindness as Мотя, same soft voice, a little more mischief. When her first litter arrived she already knew exactly what to do — we just made her tea and stayed out of the way.
One home, two generations
“Мотя’s silver shimmer, Busya’s stripes — same family, same sofa, same impossible sweetness. Watching a mother-and-daughter pair raise each other’s kittens is the reason we started this cattery.”
Every Fold × Straight pairing needs a patient, healthy sire — and Marcel is ours. He’s the father of both of this year’s litters, living proof that plush ears and an easy temperament travel together.
King ♚ · Sire of both 2026 litters
Silver classic tabby Scottish Fold — the marbled bullseye, the folded ears, the unflappable calm.
Marcel is the sire behind every kitten born at PurrmeowCA in 2026 — Busya’s March litter and Matilda’s April litter both carry his line. He’s a textbook silver classic tabby with the crisp bullseye swirl on each flank that his kittens inherit so reliably, and the plush, low-set folded ears that define the breed at its best. Around people he is completely unbothered: he greets visitors, lets the kids hold him, and naps through vacuum cleaners. That temperament is exactly what we breed for.
Why one sire, two litters?
Using the same sire for Busya’s and Matilda’s 2026 litters means every kitten born here this year is a genetic half-sibling — same father, same quiet disposition, same marbled tabby hand. If you adopt a baby from one litter and later want a second from the other, they’ll grow up looking and acting like family.
Marcel lives full-time with us between breedings. His pedigree, health clearances, and parentage record are included with every kitten’s adoption packet.
Two queens. A maximum of two litters per queen per year. No breeding rooms, no cages — Мотя and Busya sleep on our bed and raise their kittens on our couch.
To prevent skeletal issues, we never breed two Folds together. Both our queens are Straight; every sire we use is Fold. This is the only ethical pairing — and it’s the standard every responsible Scottish breeder follows.
Matilda and Busya are our only breeding cats — not a facility, just a home. Four litters a year, max. Each kitten gets hours of daily handling from birth.
Around age 6, our queens retire from breeding. They stay with us — or go to a vetted pet-only home — for the rest of their lives. No re-homing, no auctions, ever.
We don’t issue TICA papers — but we do tell you exactly where your kitten comes from. Meet the mother-daughter pair behind every litter we raise.

We don’t sell show-registered kittens — we sell healthy, family-raised pets. Every kitten comes with a written parentage record and a signed health contract.
Morning stretches, afternoon sunbathing, bedtime biscuit-making — we film it all.
